How to Feed Raw Food
- Determine appropriate daily portions based on weight and activity level (ask if help is needed).
- Break up patties and divide raw into daily or meal portions and put into preferred containers. Slight thawing in the refrigerator may be required.
- Place up to 4 days of food in the refrigerator and the rest in the freezer.
- Rotate food from the freezer to the refrigerator when a meal is fed to ensure food is thawed and ready to feed.
- Remove thawed food from the refrigerator, add supplements if desired, and give it to your pet. No heating is necessary.
- Please follow all USDA guidelines when handling raw meat.
